All of our systems are designed to be installed by a novice. We provide unlimited phone and online support for all our systems at no cost. However we understand there are times when our customers would prefer to have a factory support technician on-site.
To support our various government contracts, we have in the past provided various on-site technical services to federal and local governments. We have decided to extend the following services to all of our customers. While 99% of all our systems sold do not require this level of support, it is available to you at anytime.
Minimum Qualifications: EZWatch Pro Level III Technical Certified. 2 years experience with surveillance equipment. 2 years college.
Functional Responsibility: Provides quality review of system installation. Performs initial system checkout, startup and testing. Provides initial programming setup based on customer requirements. Performs customer training and education on system operation. Performs troubleshooting and minor installation corrects.
Note: For most systems this service is more than enough support for the customer. After the installation is completed by the customer, this service verifies a high level of system integrity and educates the customer to the point they do not need additional on-site support.
Minimum Qualifications: EZWatch Pro Level III Technical Certified. 10 years experience with surveillance equipment. Minimum Education: 4 years college
Functional Responsibility: Conducts site surveys. Evaluates physical security of the site and makes system and product recommendations for the protection of personnel and physical assets. Designs surveillance system tailored to conceptual needs of site. Participates in the design of CCTV or IP-based converged surveillance systems. Participates in pre-installation meetings in order to discuss: scope of work, project time lines, goals, etc. Confers with the Installation Manager on all aspects of design concept and equipment specification to insure total quality management.
Both of the services are based on the customer, or a contractor hired by the customer, to perform the actual equipment installation base on our guidance.
An estimated cost of the service (based on a projected number of hours) plus travel, meals and housing will be quoted to the customer before service is provided. The customer is required to pay this estimate in advance. Once the service is completed the actual cost will be calculated and the customer will either receive a refund or an invoice for the difference. Any balance will be refunded or due within 10 days of completion of the service.
A three week notice is required from the date you pay for the service and the date you require the technical support to be on-site.
