How To Setup EZWatch IP Server for Remote Viewing

Instructions on setting up an EZWatchIP account for Remote Viewing.
What is EZWatchIP?
The EZWatch IP service provides the ability for your camera server (DVR) and your remote viewing computer to connect to each other without a Static IP address. EZWatch IP is essentially a Domain Name Service, which is an alternative to paying a monthly fee for a Static IP address through an internet service provider.
Step 1: First, make sure the the EZWatch Pro DVR/Camera Server is connected to the internet.
Step 2: Open an internet browser such as Internet Explorer. Type www.ezwatchip.com into the address bar.
Step 3: Click on the Sign Up! button from the home page. Follow the steps provided on the website to complete the registration process. Make a note of the username and password you choose during the registration process.
NOTE: The EZWatchIP service is a one-time fee of $99.00.
Step 4: Once the registration information has been submitted, you will be provided with a link to download the EZWatchIP software application as well as the recommended Complete Setup Guide.
Step 5: A download window will appear giving you the option to Run, Save, or Cancel the download. It is recommend that you save the file to an easily accessible location for future use.
NOTE: It is required that the EZWatchIP be downloaded and install on the DVR/Camera Server.
Step 6: Once the EZWatchIP software has finished downloading, click on the EZWatchIP Setup file to begin installation.
Follow the Windows Setup Wizard to complete the installation.
Step 7: Once the installation has finished, if it does not automatically open, click on your Windows start menu, select Programs, locate the EZWatchIP in the program list and click to open.
Step 8: This will open the EZWatchIP log-in screen. Enter the username and password you previous chose during registration. Once the information has been entered, click on Begin Updating.
The EZWatchIP will begin counting down from 30 minutes. The timer will update the Dynamic IP address every 30 minutes. The EZWatchIP needs to open and updating in order to function properly.
