Lens Pack Compatibility

A camera's lens determines the view that the camera gets. A small lens provides a very wide view, but it is also very short range. A large lens provides a very narrow view, but it can see a long distance. The cameras that are sent with EZ Watch Pro Security Kits contain fixed lenses. To be able to see a longer distance with those cameras, you must replace the lens.
EZ Watch Pro sells a Lens Package that contains three replacement lenses : A 6mm lens, a 12mm lens, and a 25mm lens. These lenses can extend the viewing distance of the camera considerably, though they will narrow the camera's field of vision.
These lenses are physically larger than the lenses that come with our cameras by default; because of this, the lenses are too big to fit into some cameras. Here is a list of the cameras and their compatibility with the lenses in the pack :

Camera-Specific Notes
EZ-BULLET and 15-CM20WN Cameras :
The 6mm lens will fit on just fine and the camera will close and seal normally.
The 12mm lens will fit however the front of the camera CANNOT fully tighten down with the 12mm lens on. This will affect the camera's weather resistance - you should only use the 12mm lens if the camera is not being installed outdoors or in a harsh weather environment.
The 25mm lens is too large to fit on this camera unless the front of the camera is removed entirely (Not recommended!)
EZ-DOME and VA-520B Cameras :
These cameras have enough room within the dome to install ANY of the lenses. Please note however that the 25mm lens is quite large and because of that there isn't enough room inside the dome for it to point in every direction. It will function just fine and fit inside the dome when angled up.
CD35 Vandal Proof and 15-CD20 Cameras :
The CD35 series Vandal Proof cameras and the 15-CD20 will function fine with the 6mm or 12mm lenses attached. The 25mm Lens is too large for these cameras.
IR-CAMERA :
The IR-CAMERA has room inside only for the 6mm lens; the 12mm and 25mm lens will fit on the camera but the camera will not be able to close and seal with either of these lenses.
