Missing or Corrupted Resource Files when Viewing Remotely

This error commonly appears when you are using Windows Vista to view your cameras through Internet Explorer. Windows Vista's User Account Control is a security feature intended to help protect your PC from external threats; however, it has been known to interfere with your ability to connect and view your cameras using the Internet Explorer Web Browser. To fix this error you must disable the User Account Control in Windows Vista. Below is a guided walk-through on how to accomplish this.


Step 1 - Add the site to your trusted sites and give it full ActiveX Support. A step by step guide on how to do this is found here : Force Internet Explorer to download Active X
