Step 2: Once your television or monitor is set appropriately, you will see the video image of the camera on the screen. Now you can push the Menu button on the back of the EZ-EYE unit. You will now see the MAIN MENU overlaying the video image.
Step 3: From the Main Menu, select SET MOTION DETECT using the Up and Down Arrow keys. Once you have SET MOTION DETECT highlighted, press the +
key to select. Now the Set Motion Detect mode will appear on the screen.
Step 4: This menu will allow you to set the sensitivity of the motion detection.
MD ENERGY - This percentage indicates the amount of motion being detected. 0% being the least and 100% being the maximum.
MD THRESHOLD - This setting adjusts the amount of motion needed to activate the recording, indicated by the red line. Using the + and - keys, you can adjust the threshold between 0% and 100%.
IMPORTANT: In the example image above, the current threshold is set to 10%. The unit is currently displaying a motion detect energy of 12%. The motion detect energy is exceeding the motion detect threshold by 2%. This amount of motion will activate the recording. If the motion detection is too sensitive, you can try increasing the threshold. If the motion detection is not sensitive enough, try decreasing the threshold.
Once you have the motion detect sensitivity set, press the MENU button to return back to MAIN MENU.
