Brand Overview
The company created the EZWatch Pro surveillance line of products with the intent of providing low cost “professional grade” systems that the average person could install. The brand’s main products are “premade” security and surveillance packages. The packages include the cameras, digital recording equipment and parts required for installation.
Product Support
The company claims to maintain one of the industry's largest customer support departments. The company promotes the technical skill of their support representatives.
Facility
In fall of 2007 the company moved to a new corporate office and production facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The new facility features a 4,000 sq ft. display area and a 24 station customer support center. As stated in a press release, the company also upgraded its phone, inventory, support and shipping systems streamlining the company’s entire operation.
Operation
The following operations are supported at the corporate office: sales, technical support, accounting, marketing, equipment testing, inventory, DVR builds, service, returns, shipping, internet marketing, programming, graphics design, product research, supplier relations.
Marketing
Currently the majority of the branding efforts are internet based. Through a combination of pay-per-click advertising, website optimization and website development the company has established a nationwide internet based marketing program. This program has generated the majority of growth for the company over the past 4 years. According to Scott McQuarrie president of the company, the company has grown from 2 employees in 1999 to over 30 by 2009.
Trademark
In December 2005 the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted the company trademark protection for the brand “EZWatch Pro”. Registration #3,035,435
Government GSA Contract
In fall of 2009 EZWatch Pro was awarded a GSA Advantage Contract which allows federal, state and local government entities to purchase the EZWatch-Pro brand of video surveillance systems at pre-negotiated prices.
